Poem: You

I have my own struggles with my mental health, more specifically with anxiety. I recently wrote this poem:

You blind me, you chase me
You choke me, you race me
You may never ever go away
I may never ever know you by your name

Apparently I should resist, To acknowledge you exist
You always tell me Im the one to blame
I may never ever call you by your name

But they dont see you at two in morning
When you call over without any warning
They dont hear all the lies you feed me
When I dont know how to stop the bleeding
Its true as the sky is blue
You are me, I am you

Youre the excuse that I use for this half-life Im leading
Youre treason to my reason when I cant deal with breathing
You are me, I am you
