Keith and Sheila discuss ‘The lack of funding, education and knowledge surrounding eating disorders in Ireland’ to highlight and support World Mental Health Day: Mental Health in an Unequal World.

Keith and Sheila will be discussing the lack of funding, education and knowledge about eating disorders in Ireland. Especially depending on what part of Ireland you live in. They will also talk about their own stories with eating disorders and the different stigmas for men and women.

Keith Russell is the creator and founder of The Endless Spiral, which is a blogging platform and mental health podcast. He has lived with Anxiety, depression and body dysmorphia for over 20 years. He is the host of The Endless Spiral podcast and blogs about mental health. Keith is passionate about helping others share their stories and experiences with all types of mental health

Sheila Naughton is a 26 year old broadcast journalist and radio presenter. She has a degree in drama and theatre studies from Trinity and is currently doing her masters in Politics and International Relations.

But outside of this Sheila is a Mental Health advocate and ambassador for See Change all because she is in recovery from anorexia. It took over her life about 4 years ago after struggling since the age of 7 and after a few hospital stays and lots of work to overcome the little voice she calls ‘Janine’ she is finally seeing that life is better when that voice gets quieter.
