The group approached Foróige Youth Worker Deirdre Dennigan with their concerns about the high rates of teenage bullying, anxiety, depression and suicide. Together they worked with Garry McCarthy from GMCBeats Workshops (gmcbeats.com) to write, produce and record a song and video on these issues.
Written and performed by Shane Keane, Trisha Sexton and Paul Woods, their work holds very powerful and touching messages from teens to teens and the wider community about the importance of reaching out and speaking out about mental health and letting people know they are not alone and there is help available.
The young people also received a ‘Ones to Watch’ award for the rap at the recent Aldi Foróige Youth Citizenship Awards.

We rely on the generosity of the public to fund our work and so far together we have achieved great things! Please do continue to support us so we can provide future generations in Ireland with the resources to recognise and talk about their emotions, and equip them to navigate the ever-changing world around them as they grow
