Vhi A Lust For Life Galway Racecourse 5k brought to you by Irish Independent

The Vhi A Lust For Life Run Series brought to you by Irish Independent is delighted to come to Galway Racecourse. Our partners at Galway Racecourse have opened the gates for one evening to allow us to invite A Lust For Life supporters to join us. This unique 5k run gives runners the opportunity to take on the flat, fast track around the racecourse.

The event is open to runners/joggers/walkers. The only caveat being to throw your support behind A Lust For Life. There is limited capacity on the day so booking early is advised. You’ll never have a running experience like this again.

Everyone needs a goal to run towards. Let this be your goal for 2016. Sign up for this 5k run and let’s start to #RUNYOURLIFE

Get ready to #runyourlife with the Vhi A Lust For Life Run Series

Get your trainers at the ready for the Vhi A Lust For Life run series brought to you by Irish Independent! We’ve got two exciting running events. Each will be a 5km like no other with two unique venues chosen to host the events.

On September 3rd, the sweeping surroundings of Galway Racecourse in Ballybrit will be our destination as over 1,500 runners hit the track. This is the first time A Lust For Life has made its way to the City of the Tribes for and it promises to be a debut to remember.

On September 30th, the Vhi A Lust For Life run series will swap the racecourse for the runway as the 5km event takes over Cork International Airport. For those looking for something different to do on a Friday night this event fits the bill perfectly, as participants will be taking to the course at midnight. This is the second time Cork Airport has hosted the event and this September’s run looks set to be even bigger and better.

Whether you plan to race, walk, jog or run these 5km events, both promise to be a great day (or night) out. As always, the emphasis with A Lust For Life is on wellbeing and promoting a healthy, happy lifestyle, a sentiment shared by our title sponsor Vhi.

“Vhi is delighted once again to support the “Vhi A Lust for Life” running series. We totally support its goal which is to encourage people to develop both their physical and mental wellbeing by pursuing a healthier and more active life style. The health benefits both physical and mental associated with running are unparalleled,” according to Declan Moran, Director, Product and Business Development, Vhi.
