As part of our national #SoundEffect movement, we are capturing so many amazing ‘sound’ stories from people throughout Ireland. We wanted to create a visual representation of the campaign and we couldn’t think of a better place to host it than at Electric Picnic – a festival that is just a magnet for good vibes and a great bit of craic and soundness!
Our ‘Wall of Sound’ will be hosted in the Mindfield Arena for the duration of the festival in the form of a giant ‘life-sized’ 7ft speaker that will play ‘Songs in the Key of Positivity’, songs chosen and selected by you the public that uplift and inspire you. Get on social media now and tell us the songs that inspire you the most and we will pump those tunes out loud and proud throughout the weekend!
The speaker will also have huge 7ft ‘chalkboard walls’ on three sides where festival goers can directly engage and add to this ‘living piece of art’ to share the sound stories of our nation as told by the Electric Picnic festival goers. We hope our ‘Wall of Sound’ will inspire a ripple effect and a wave of soundness that will spread throughout the whole Electric Picnic festival.
